Has anyone heard of this stuff. The wierd thing is some of rice is green and red along with brown. The ingredients say LONG GRAIN BROWN RICE. I picked up a 3lb bag for 99cents at the 99cent only store. I swear this store is awesome. They sell fresh produce and stuff like that. Two cans of black beans 99cents. Hormel 99%fat free turkey chili 2 full size cans for 99cents. Anyways back to the brown rice. Anyone hear of this thai lady brown rice?

Sounds like Basamatti Brown Rice to me. That is all I buy. I don't like regular long grain brown rice.

They are the shit. Its not like those other 99ct stores where you walk in and some things are 99cents. Everything is 99cents and its the size of a medium sized grocery store. 3 heads of lettuce 99cents. They started in so cal and now tucson has two of them. Its a cool store because its seasonal as well. I do half of my grocery shopping there now. I can get a ton of dry foods there. I still have to do meat shopping at a regluar grocery store, but they do cary shrimp hot dogs turkey bacon sausages etc. They even have a goumet sections.
