Can someone help a fat guy that wants to loose 30 pounds

    I'll start with my stats:

    Height: 6'0"
    Weight: 260lbs
Over all look: Well I got a big stomach and that's really what i would like to loose. I got other fat but it's mostly situated there.

Now with my goals: I don't really want to be a huge muscled up guy, well not right now. What I really want is to get in shape and loose the gut. I do take a multi-vitamin a day. Also i'm alergic to seafood.

I started running on monday the 26th of april, yesteray. i run and walk 5 km a day. I run till i can't no more and then walk about 2 mins and start running again.

Next, i was reading a bout the 6 meals a day plan and was really interested in doing it, but i can't find a place where it would help start the whole plan. I got a list of foods to buy and stuff but nothing to tell how to do the diet. It's hard to start something when you don't know what portion to take and stuff.

I also don't know if i should add supplements to my diet. Like i said before I do take multi-vitamine a day, but hould i take anything else?

As for the gym workout, well that i try to do but i try to go with my brother in-law, but he is to advanced for me. I need to start at the basics so i dont overtrain my self. Last summer i injured my bicep, strained it, cause i was pushing my self to hard. So maybe someone could give a bigenner programm to fallow?

Like i said I'm new but really want to loose my gut. It's my biggest goal of the summer. I<ve got for month and i'd really like to loose 20 to 30 pounds.

fitday.com for kcals on stuff like eggs, sweet potatoes etc

in the beginning you should really just try and get 6 balanced meals/day, and make sure they're clean. balanced means a little bit of protein, carbs, fat. By the time you have that down to a T, you will have read enough on here to be able to manipulate your diet more.

i'm a fan of full body 3x/week, compound lifts, 3-4 sets per exercise, varied rep ranges and if you would like throw some cardio in there.

First of all I need to say that it will be easy to achieve your goal

Now you have to stop this crazy 5km cardio everyday. That is just too much.
About your diet, read the "stickies" here in the diet forum, they are the first three threads, after you think about a diet, post it here for us to evaluate.
Donīt worry about supplements right now, continue with your multi though.
IMO that is about it for the first month.
