I'm currently 5'8 and weigh in at about 147 lbs... I consume 2,610 calories daily, thats my bodyweight times 18. Is this enough in order for me to gain mass. I work out a body part once a week, I go on the m-w-f basis and I have eliminated cardio from my workouts. My target weight is around 180, I'm not in a hurry in achieving this cause I know it is hard and challenging if its done the natural way, and I plan to sticking to natural methods. Am I consuming the aprropriate amount of calories for me to gain mass??? opinions anyone???

18 cals per lb is a good place to start especially if your a hard gainer. Try it for 2 weeks and monitor your gains and or bodyfat. If you aren't gaining enough make it 19 or 20, if you are gaining too much cut it down to 17 or 16 etc or add cardio, your choice.![]()
