    womens needs?

I have a lady friend who is trying to lose bf, she will be starting some cardio and light lifting as well. Right now im working on setting her up for a eating program. Her needs arent the same as mine, I dont know what ratios(40/40/20) to put her on. Or if women need certain requirments more than men.

I was thinking mabye making her eat 4 meals a day, meduim sized and spread out 3-4 hours. This is where I get lost, I only know high protien diets and such. I know all the healthy carbs and such, please help.

try read this first.. that will give basics on the some ideas of diet.
a 40/40/20 split is a good place to start. however I would reccomend more than 4 meals.. more like 5, they dont have to be large, just smaller from frequent feedings are far superior for metabolism, especially in regards to fatloss.

Ive read that many times before for myself, the normal person isnt willing to change there life style so dramstic though especially a teenager.

Do you think 40/40/20 would be ok, I was thinking thats a lot of protein for someone not looking to really build muscle. I also dont want to get her into buying anything like protein powders, I dont know how long or deticated she will be. I think making her eat cleaner and more frequent will being concious of cals, along with the added cardio and light lifting she will drop pounds for awhile. Problaly enough to get her to her goal.
