Something disturbing about high carb days.

Okay, so I'm in week four right now, and as the weeks go by I find that I want more and more food on each high carb day, like my appetite progressively increases on each subsequent high carb day. I think I have serious satiety issues.
    Anybody else experience this?

    Peace.

I should get some bloodwork done, too. As for digestion, I really have no idea. My digestion is probably less than optimal, actually.

And that Ghost album is dope. One of my favourites so far this year. Track 14 is my jawn, what is it called again, "Be This Way"?

You are losing body fat though right?

If that's the case it's not going to hurt you because leptin levels may be dropping faster as you become leaner.

You are not kidding. I am doing carb cycling too. I tend to get real hungry on high days. I still manage to keep it under control though. Good program by the way.

I definitely experience this. I ran my own version of carb cycling for a while in a ill-fated attempt at a lean bulk. I consistently hit 5500-6500 calories/high carb day and had to impose some harsh restrictions if I were to keep my food intake low enough to bulk.

I ended up gaining quite a bit of fat even though my calories averaged out at a normal level for the week(s). My high carb days were just too excessive and too frequent to show decent results. I think it would have been much more effective if I could have controlled my appetite more appropriately.

Try limiting your main grain source to oatmeal rather than rice/yams. That can help reduce caloric intake.

Well I worked things out mathematically and I've been eating measured out meals on high carb day, simply because if I didn't, I'd be eating FAR too much food.
My high carb days have been:
    - 1 1/2 cup oats
    - 1 1/2 cups oat bran
    - 1 cup brown rice
    - 1 cup hulled barley

This brings me to around 360g of carbs. I think I should be having oats the other two meals too, it's true that it's a lot more satisfying.

    Peace.

Yeah I figured it would be the optimal amount, I was actually anal enough to do all the calculations and whatnot. Jodi, I was wondering what kind of tweak I should throw into the works soon:
    - Switch from a no/low/high to a high/no/low/no? (Stole this idea from you, really)
    - Throw in one or two days of clean cardio
    - Decrease amount of starch eaten on low carb days and counting fruit carbs in low carb meals to meet the carb quota for the day

Should I be at 360g with, or without fiber, you think? With oats and especially oat bran it makes quite a difference. I hate the fiber question.

Personally, I think I'd add in the cardio before changing the cycle.

    TP may disagree though
