    Vitamin C and E

Right now I am taking a multi-vitamin every morning. It contains 100 mg. of C and 50 IU of E. While I will take some additional C when I feel a cold coming on, I don't take any extra C regularly. Is there any consensus on whether one should take more than 100 mg. and 50 IU on a daily basis when body building?

    Thanks

DEFINITLY!! the added antioxidants will help rid of the free radicals in your body, especially from added stress on your body from training. They have also been shown to improve recovery as well.

I take a Centrum multi-vitamin early in morning ... then about 3 hours later ... I take 1,500 of C (water soluble) .and 1,000 E everyday ... Great for skin tone, muscle repair, strong bones, super immune system booster, circulation and on and on ... I also throw in a B-complex (for loads of B's for sustained energy) ... Drink lots of water ... I hardly catch colds and u just glow ...

Well, that sounds like as close to consenus as it can get. I'll start taking an extra 1000 mg. of C and 400 IU of E daily.

    Thanks
