why not worry about it?
Because it is not that practical. Common sense about most foods are still the best method. GL is a more interesting concept. They are related but GL gives a better idea everytime you eat.

I too am starting to get out of the GI paranoia camp myself theses days. You need to look at total GI load which is a functon on the quantity. I use to eat dried apricots like candy post workout. If they are not coated with sweetners the only thing in em really is fructose. But Fructose is not all that high of a GI sugar - it's relatively low.

I forgot to say that when you mix foods they digest slower thus the GI is not good again.
But it's still better to have a low GI, GL food![]()
