    Argh! Blew your diet! What now?

    There you were, going by that #%$#$%ing platter of junk someone stuck by the photocopier for the sixth time -- and something snapped! Before you knew it, you'd filled your face with several sticky, creamy somethings worth your entire caloric allotment for the day.

    Now you're back at your desk, brushing the crumbs off -- and what happens next?

    sorry can't really vote on this one cause i never cave, but if i did i would say up my cardio and make sure i eat perfect for a little bit.

    I'd never do that. I schedule regular cheats, save for competition diet The idea of knowing that on such and such day I will be going to dinner and eating whatever I want or I'm going to a party or vacation or whatever my cheat is keeps me from cheating any other time.

    It won't kill you. Enjoy your splurge and try not to do it again for a while. It's okay to let loose once in a while. Just don't make it a habit.

    I've been doing great lately, but my wife forgot about my low-carb, low-sugar diet and bought me a pint of ice cream. I felt bad that she got it for me and was crushed I wouldn't eat any, so I ate some to please her. Felt guilty about it all night long!

    Oh well. I'm just going to keep dieting as usual and forget the ice cream ever happened.

    Unless you are looking to be 8% BF or less, an occasional cheat isn't going to hurt you at all. Move on, and just make sure it doesn't happen too often.
