    i was under the impression that staying in cold temps, such as cold water, was a good way to retain fat, because the body thinks that in order to warm itself up it has to retain some fat, isn't that why swimmers(although muscular and lean) are not completly ripped

    Nope, shivering apparently makes you lose a crapload of calories. I believe hardasnails once posted about sleeping in his boxers in the winter or something, haha.

    it is the truth..I have seen one of my ex-gf's mother go from overweight to a human skeleton because of Parkinson's and with no significant changes in her diet...
    I train differently than most, my beef is with gravity the weights on the bar are just the medium...Thanks to Wall Street your slice of the American Pie has been reduced to a crumb.
