    Pre contest diet help

Orignal thread : First Competetion for NPC Teen GA! HELP!

The question is what to do basicly, I was going to have him follow the outlines in the "J Bo just for you" thread but he brought taraxatone into it and I didnt know what to say.

I know taraxatone makes you drop water, but isnt that the point of the sodium depletion, then carb loading to fill out? Would it be wise to do as the thread says and start taraxatone to? If so when should taraxatone be taken, and how much for how long?

Reason for repost is its closing in to when he needs to do this, actually this week.

    Thanks for any thoughts,
    Joe

Taraxatone is just a diuretic. A stong one at that. It should be taken, if at all, starting 2-3 days before the comp.

just be carefull there because the taraxatone contains caffeine. If you are taking the diuretic for contest you may need to be popping it quite a bit through out the day and all that caffeine may catch up to ya at bedtime.

I boiled my chicken as well.

    True...

Yeah you take six capsules a day 3 in the morn and 3 mid afternoon, the contest is on saturday, what day you do suggest I start the Taraxatone so I will peak on Saturday, oh and also my precontest diet is, 1.5 scoops whey and 1/3 cup oatmeal in the morning, then 4 oz chicken. 1/4 cup rice and veggies 4 times after that, then whey again at bedtime. Ofcourse I'm takin' glutamine w/ every meal. Does this diet look good for pre-contest? Oh and when should I take my Flax? I'm also doing HIIT cardio every morning and maybe sometimes at night starting today up until thursday or friday before competetion, is this smart?? Please help me!!! lol
