It depends how sensitive you are to sugar, and what and how recently you've eaten before that, and whether you've exercised.
i know sugar should not be in the diet, but i would like to know anyway how much sugar it would take to cause a fast insulin spike, b/c some foods has like 1 gram of sugar but also have fat and protein so i really don't know whether that one gram would make a huge difference or not since the fat and protein would help things going up gradually. thanks

agreed. but i'd say at this point don't worry about 1 g of sugar. sometimes you can find you're worrying so much about all of the details it's hard to actually get started.![]()
