Weight question?

Why is it that i can look a whole lot bigger and be stornger then a lot of guys and yet when i step on a scale i come in about 15 lbs. less? Everyone always thinks that i weigh 175-180 but I come in at about 160-165, after eating and water logged.

Dude same with me. I used to have a really high body fat. I was like 230. But now since ive cut down and started lifting I still look bigger than someone who weighs like even 185 and im at a scrawny 165. Mostly cuz my chest and shoulders are large. I wonder whats gonna happen when I bulk.

Yup, same problem with me as well. In my case, my guess is that i dont have thick legs (thighs - 22.5"). So while i look a certain weight, i am a bit lighter as my skinny legs lack mass.

It is because you are leaner so you look more muscular that the other guys. Also, it is because your waist is probably smaller, giving the illusion that your shoulders are bigger. That is how bodybuilding works. I am only 180lbs right now and people think that I look like I am 200lbs?? When I was 200lbs, bulked up and higher bf%, people thought that I looked big but couldn't take a guess at my weight and were sometimes even lower than 100lbs when they tried.
