    chicken

I work at a KFC (kentucky fried chicken). I know chicken is great for protein but would it be better to be eating fried or oven roasted? I know the answer is probably fried but is that just because of the fat in it or what?

Oven roasted all white meat w/o the breast is the best. But oven roasted in general would be better because there is not as much fat from the deep fry and there is no breading (prcessed white flour).

Def stay away from KFC, stuff is horrible for ya.

Any chicken other than KFC is your best choice!

Actually, I think the best way to prepare chicken, if you want clean lean protein, is use boneless-skinless chicken breast. First boil for about 10-15 minutes... boiling cooks the fat and impurities out of the meat, then bake or grill. Be careful, cause during the boiling process, the meat has been cooking also. Whether you bake or grill afterwards, it's not going to take long before it's done!

Fug that just keep it at boiled, its so damn good. Stays juicy. I remember I was reading a post a long time ago about how everyone who was cutting at the time just boiled their chicken with veggies. I was like damn thats nasty. Little did I realize I was going to eat it for a good 3 months straight.

Boiled chicken breast is so damn good. I want some right now.

I swear when I was a kid and I was reading wrestling superstars' diets I would cringe upon reading "boiled chicken breast and broccoli". Now it's one of my favourite meals. I think us bodybuilders are a very strange lot.

    Peace.

How long would you boil 'frozen' chicken breast? I always grill mine, or eat ground chicken.

    Hi, Jill -

I've never boiled frozen chicken breast,... in fact, I dont have any frozen meats! I shop almost everyday, whether it's poultry, steaks, fish, lean ground round or ground sirloin,... none of my meats are ever frozen! As far as boiling chicken goes, after 25 minutes, stick a fork in your breast, slap it on a plate and cut it open... if it's not quite done, then throw it back in the boiling water and keep an eye on it. Chicken cooks rather quickly while boiling..!

Yea mine only take like 10-15, depending on the portion size is what determins the length of cooking. I do cook my frozen sometimes. I ussually just throw it in and check in every 5 minutes or so b/c after a certain point it cooks very rapidly.
