    Six meals a day?

I started going to the gym just to get into shape and I have dropped from 13 stone to 11 stone. However, I have really got bitten by weightlifting bug and have really started to get into it.

My question is I find impossible to eat six times a day with my work. Can I get away with the menu I am on at the minute?

    9:00am Cereal and protein Shake
12:00pm Macoroni cheese with a can of tuna stirred in. A bread roll and half a pot of cottage cheese.
8:00pm Protien shake (after the gym)
10:00pm Two tuna steaks, small portion of oven chips (fries) and half a can of mushy peas.

I have been eating this for two weeks now (and surprisingly I love it and could eat it every day)

This gives me 2200 calories with 180g of protein.

As a beginner do I need this much protien? I am 5 foot 11 and weigh 155 pounds.

Sorry for all the newbie questions.

How come your bringing stones to the gym and dropping them?

In regards to your diet, you can do much better. Im not usre what kind of job you have? I manage to eat 6 times a day and my job makes it hard as well to do that. Im a consultant (computers) and am always running from client to client.....My meals have seen many different fridges throughout the day.......Eating in peoples offices and all.....

Most people here will rip your diet...Depending on how serious you are about this and what your goals are, you need to rethink your diet.

That diet is piss poor. No food for 8 full hours in the middle of the day? Read Jodis sticky on cutting bulking and maintainance.
