    Isocaloric Lean Bulking

I started a lean bulk today. My goal is about 3600 calories per day. I'm 6'0", 185 pounds, and 19 years old. I weight train 4 days per week, do cardio 1-3 days per week, and do physically demanding work for a living. On days when I work and weight train, I may eat an additional 300-400 calories. Does anyone think there is something wrong with following an isocaloric macro distribution (33/33/33)?

The only meals where I don't plan on following this guideline is my PWO meal, when I skip on fat besides that which is in oats, and my before bed meal, during which I skip on carbs.

I am skeptical about intaking more than 1200 calories/300 grams of protein. I don't forsee any benefit from the classic 40/40/20 caloric split, which would leave me eating 360 grams of protein per day. As well, I don't like the idea of too many carbs because I am an endo/meso. I feel this kind of caloric split might work for me, but would like to hear opinions.

nothing wrong with isocaloric at all! I do it sometimes. I like 40/40/20 too.

    Not at all, solid plan.

Although I've never tried isocaloric I see nothing wrong with it and feel it would be a great plan as well
