Okay guys, been holding off on making this post but here goes. I've been working my ass off, except, the ass is still there, lol! No, seriously, I've cut out mochas and cut out soda and cut out a lot of things and I work out every night. Everyday after work we briskly walk / jog. Then I spin 2 nights a week, wakeboard about 3 nights, and I'm on my feet running around all day at work. This is my basic diet:

Morning: Instant Oatmeal (tried plain almost died it tasted like oil or fat)

    Snack: Banana

Lunch: Salad w/ chicken and avacado salsa

Dinner: Protien in form of lean meat and veggies.

WTF I'm still not losing. I totally need to start weight training again huh?

You dont look like you are eating enough. Your body is probably in starvation mode, and storing the fat.

But I feel so full. Well, maybe I am sometimes hungry. What should I add? Whenever I eat a lot of carbs (I am not an advocate of the low carb diet) I feel all bloated. Just something I've noticed since I've started my quest for a healthier lifestyle (and a kicking body)!

I know exactly what you mean.

It happens faster, the less you think about it. It's that whole " boiling of a watched pot thing "... Sounds like you're doing great. Dont let yourself frusterate yourself! Dont pull a Luke.

BTW, looks like we're both lucky! (high five)

Yeah I think PreMier is right. You're eating like nothing basically. A banana for a snack isn't enough (IMO), and even if it was.....you should add about 2 more of those banana snacks in there at different times of the day. But like I said...it isn't enough. You have to eat more. (i'm also going by my own standards, and I wanna get big and cut). You're just looking to lose some weight.....well eat just a little more just so your body doesn't have to store all that fat. Don't force yourself to eat in one meal though.....if you're full at one particular meal, then don't force it. But if you're hungry like 2 or 3 hours later, then eat. Your body knows itself better than you think you do. So when it says to eat, then eat, when it says it's full, then don't eat and wait til it's ready again. As long as your not bodybuilding and you're just tryin to lose a few pounds then you don't have to "force" yourself to eat. If I were you i'd also do some weight work. You sound like you do a lot of cardio, but when it comes to toning down the muscle, and getting rid of fat even, nothing works better than tossing the iron around!

as said, it doesnt look like your eating near enough... hence your body dipped into starvation mode.

You need a serving of lean protein in each meal. 5-6 smaller mini meals keeps metabolism elevated and energy levels high.

-switch the instead oats to old fashioned type. sweeten it with splenda/steiva and vanilla/banana extract or cinnamon or berries.
-as said, protein in EVERY meal. cottage cheese, egg whites(yolks in moderation), chicken, turkey, lean beef, whey protein, etc.
-Id swtich the banana to a less sugary, more fiberous fruit such as berries or apples.
-you need some EFA's (healthy fats).

You should start by getting at least 5 small well balanced meals a day, each meal consisting of protein, slow burning carbs and efa's.. Good luck

Thanks for all the replys, it really helps. I know I should eat more, and sometimes in the day I get hungry, but other days I could go all day without eating. I know, I know BAD Hence I am working on it. I am going to work up a new eating plan and start trying it out next week, also, I am going to start some weight training again. I'll keep you guys posted.

Yes Luke, we are both lucky, hehe, rock on
