i need motivation for my diet

Hey guys, im going to canada in 3 weeks for college. I havent weighed myself in nearly 3 weeks, but im planning on losing 4 pounds a week. I ALREADY eat low-carb, and use the gym twice a week, its the cardio i cant get it in me to do. My brother got these no-carb drinks like Red Bull, except without the carbs. SO i may use those for energy...oh yeah, someone told me caffeine is NOT good for low-carb diets??? but caffeine is a fat burner! My main thing is, im really gonna try hard to do this diet so i can be at least 10 pounds thinner when i go there...so i need some motivation from lots of people to keep me motivated, id appreciate it some of u could instant message me with Aol instant messenger, just in case i never need immediate help, i can get some help immediately. My SN is VenezianPrince. Im really looking forward to Monday, thats when i plan on starting. If only i was taller, id look better. lol. But im 18, i wont grow anymore.

4lbs a week is pretty steep.

Start a journal if you want people to read and help motivate you. Other than that you need to motivate yourself. You have to want to loose the weight and get in shape.

Doing cardio on a low carb cardio is not a good idea
Do you want to lose the 4 lbs. of weight (mostly water weight) or 4 lbs. of fat??

    I agree.

as for the loosing 4lbs/week.... you basically looking at loosing a lot of water weight and perhaps LBM by going that low carb for so long. Fatloss at best is 1-2lbs per week.
why only the gym 2X week? if you want progress and look better... GET TO THE GYM.. MOVE YOUR BODY.

one thing that I want to ask... do you think that its realy going to make a difference if you are 10lbs lighter or 4lbs lighter before college? Do you think that people are going to like you that much more by weighing slightly less?
And being on low carb for so long can also lead to higher stress levels, brain fogginess, disorientation, emotional streaks, etc... not making for the most socialable and "friendly" person.
    just some thoughts....
