i think it would be unwise to get up and workout without having sumthin in my sytem..ur body needs sumthin to use for energy..u don't want to be burnin hard earned muscle..i dunno about u but if i tried workin out first thin in the morning on an empty stomach i would prolly throw up

Yeah man nobody here is gonna be able to tell you how to do that one cuz we all metabolise our own way. Full stomache for me is a no-can-do. A multi chased down with a shake is it for me. Lots of fluids during ... and a good meal after.

Early morning cardio I would do on an empty stomache.
I would NEVER lift without eating something prior to it even if it's only a shake, don't want to burn off muscle and I need something to fuel me through my workouts.

I always have a protein shake 45min before I work out. By the time you start lifting, you body has a supply of digested protein and BCAA's to go to work on your muscles as soon as they are broken down.

ditto to that...I would NEVER do any type of exercise in the AM on a completely empty stomach. cortisol levels are elevated and the body is already in a catabolic state. exericising in that state only futher reduces muscle catabolism and increases recovery time. the body can not grow until it has completely recovered. decreasing catabolic activity is 2nd to increasing anabolic activity...

Get in a decent preworkout shake, and you are all set.
