sugar or sugar alcohols ...choose the worst

I know everyone thinks protein bars are bad for cutting, BUT if you had to choose between a bar with sugar alcohols and NO sugar or a bar with a little sugar (like 5 grams) and the rest complex carbs .. which would be worse?

Id choose the bar with the complex carbs and little sugar myself... 5g sugars isnt too bad as long as the rest in your diet is low that day. Again, bars once in a while only when a must

Carbs with sugar IMO. Sugar alcohols can mess with your tummy. A little are find but bars with no sugar and all sugar alcohols usually have a lot of them in it and sometimes cause a laxative effect or pretty bad cramps. But I like protein bars, and I think one a day while cutting is fine, especially if it keeps your from binging. I personally like to have the option of a protein bar while cutting because it makes me feel like I'm eating candy.
Only time will tell if it was time well spent!
