    glutinous rice??good /bad?

    Just wondering what everyones thought on this type of rice? thanks for your help

    As far as know it's good for you and tastes great with a thicker creamier taste than normal rice. Despite the name, glutinous rice is gluten-free, it also contains Selenium which is a good antioxidant. I usually eat this as part of Thai meals. So a thumbs up from me, but I would imagine that brown rice is lower on calories, but a bit boring.

    thanks for the info. i been eating alot of asain food these days since i found this market by my house. but i gotta watch out for the sodium content in some of the food. but the rice is great. it comes wrap in banana leaves great stuff.
