    Timing of bulking and cutting?

Well fall is just about upon us and winter is right around the corner so I figure now is a good time to bulk up. My question thoa is, is it a good idea to bulk for long period of time (i.e. all of fall and winter) and then cut in spring to get ready for beach season?

Would it be better to do some sort of bi-weekly (or bi-monthly) bulk/cut type-thingy?

Bulk until you reach the weight you want, and then cut when you want. I doubt bi-weekly bulking or cutting would yield any results. Read up on them.

I am bulking but I at least give it 12 weeks. It takes 4-6 weeks for me personally to see any "real" visible results in diet change in the mirror. So I give it about 12... It's a good round figure to split the year up into 4 seasons anyway.

Bulk as long as you wish, just watch the fat gain and if you feel you are getting too chunky then cut for a few weeks.
