protein pudding?

Heya everyone.....WOW its been a super long time since I've been around. I miss this place and I've left my mark in the training forum so here I am to do the same.

I just wanted to hear everyones response to somethinga friend of mine told me about in the gym. He had mentioned one day he made protein pudding. Bought the sugar free, fat free instant pudding stuff and mixed some water and whey. Refrigerate vwalla! He said you could throw some oats or something like that in there or just eat your carbs seperately. I was thinkin about going to the store and checking the pudding stuff out to see how bad it is...what do you guys think?

That is the beauty of tasteless protein powder. You can mix it with everything.
Welcome back.

Yummy stuff!

Just don't use 2 c. water. Start with half that, the pkg of pudding, 2 scoops protein powder, add water till you get the thickness that you want.

I just made some tonight actually. One package, 3 cups milk (less if your using water), 8 scoops whey protein. Then a cup of pudding is about 40g protein w/ milk, about 30g w/out milk. Was pretty good too!

How much of it do you eat at one time? (I assume the whole bowl is a bad idea.) Also, would this work as a meal replacement if you added in some instant oats?

As I said above, 1 cup is about a serving. And IMO you can add oats to it for a meal replacement. BUT NEVER INSTANT OATS!! Horrible Get the slow cooked oats, old fashioned.
