    oats again

Yes I eat about a cup of oats for breakfast ( the australian version of quaker oats). I don't cook them just add milk.

I don't know if they are rolled bits or otherwise -- just pure oats.

What are rolled oats? oat bits? is it all right if i don't cook them. (cooked oats are yucky!)

    Thanks for advice

Rolled oats are flat. Whole oats, sometimes also known as oat groats, look like seeds, because they are. Rolled oats look like someone stomped on the seeds with a giant hot metal rolling machine, because they have been.

They are fine uncooked. If you can eat them uncooked, they are almost certainly rolled, as whole oats would be rather hard on your teeth.
