sleeping after eating, does it make you fat?

hi all,

my daily routine is very hectic, school work and gym.
i get my meals on time, but as i dont get enough sleep during night (6 hours), i tend to sleep in the after noon.

after a meal at 2 pm at around 2:45 i sleep till 4:30. then my next meal come at 5 pm.
is this good for my health or should i avoid sleeping after a meal? will it make me gain a belly - sleep after a meal?

i have a problem of getting bloated also. i dont know why?
i am on a bulking phaze - 5'7" 135 lbs bf 10%
it seems like everthing seems to get stored in my belly. my diet is clean, except 2 cheat meals a week in which i mostly eat cheesecakes.

any help would be appreciated.

thanx in advance.

Providing you are within caloric range, most people are USUALLY ok. Granted with your body being less active it will probably take longer for your body to burn the food you give it though which could attribute to the bloat.

I think you should be more concerned about your sleep. Why are you only getting 6 hours a night?

Hi,

thanx for the reply.

i am working, going to the gym and studying. most of the times i get up at 5 am and go to the gym by 6:30 and then the day follows.
if i am lucky, i sleep by 9pm, otherwise 11 i try to go to bed.

recently i have not gained any weight, but i can see my belly bulge out again. i thought if sleeping in the after noon must have done this to me.

any advise would be appreciated. thanx a ton for the help.
