    Post comp weight gain

I did a figure comp 2 months ago and was in the best shape ever. In only 2 months I have made several strides in the wrong direction!! (Weight gain, increased body fat, decreased strength). Can anyone recommend a way to get back on track? I am totally depressed and lacking motivation. I can't go back on my pre-contest diet (way to strict for normal life) but I am having trouble finding a diet that is inbetween!

It's normal. I would suggest getting back on a diet close to what you had been doing pre comp. but not as strict. Find out what your maint. calories are and go from there. You may also want to do cardio several times a week to helpp in balancing out the added foods, or eat clean during the week and allow free weekends.

With me, once I am finished with a show, its a free for all for several months. I usually get miserable and hate the way my clothes fit. If I'm not in the frame of mind to diet or do cardio, I can hang it up. It won't happen.
