    refeed day

    what if you gain like 4lbs on refeed day ? is this a sign that you ate too much?

    No. If you are eating a high amount of carbs that weight you are gaining is almost definately water. Carbs hold water remember. Unless you are eating tons of doughnuts and pizza it's water. Just drink tons of water the next day that should get rid of it pretty good for you.

    Its most likely water weight from all the carbs and such. I would suggest that if you want to weight yourself do it on the same day at the same time so all the variables are equal. You can fluctuate several pounds day to day from water weight.

    if you are weighing yourself everyday that is your 1st problem. weigh yourself once a week.

    Those last two posts say a lot. I try to weigh myself first thing in the morning before eating any breakfast. I feel that a lot of variables are eliminated, or their effects reduced at this time. Also, weighing yourself every day is a bad idea. Every week or two is sufficient.
    The only time it's bad to feel the burn is when you're peeing...

    What foods have you all personally found effective to eat on refeed days and when during the days?

    I eat pizza, Mcdonald's, pancakes, waffles, bagels, rice, cookies and ice cream. I eat them before 3 pm.
