Yes it's possible. I've cut without it many times. It just requires more work on the diet. You will have to cut calories more because you are not doing cardio. One thing to keep in mind though, cardio helps speed up your metabolism, creates more of a caloric deficit and provides cardiovascular health.

Yeah, it's totally possible to loose fat without cardio. You could do cardio till your blue in the face but if your diets not correct you probably won't loose. What's your diet look like? The 15-20 minutes sounds fine!
Only time will tell if it was time well spent!

You can burn fat and boost your metabolism by doing moderate intensity cardio. Doing cardio after lifting for 20 min at 135 bpm three times a week will help a lot if you can do that. You have a lot to burn, and if you cut calories a lot your metabolism is going to slow down to the point that you quit loosing weight. I wouldn't cut cardio out altogether. Just find what intensity you can handle for 20 min at a time. JMO.

my opinion, if you goal is to lose fat, i dont think its possible to overtrain in the cardio area. When i do cardio, which usuually involves a football game, or jogging/sprinting, if i dont feel beat after the exercise, i didint work hard enough. Just my opinion though. I suppose if you just totally burn out in the middle of a workout, then drop the intensity a bit.
