TDawg Diet or No mixing of carbs and fat diet

Just wondering how you guys feel about the diet which mainly revolves around not mixing carbs and fat. Any real science behind it, and if anyone's tried it, please give feedback. I'm thinking about using it for an 6 to 8 week diet. I usually use TP's Carb Cycling diet but would like to try something different. To those who don't know about the diet, it's basically 6 meals a day with all meals being protein and fat except the meal before and after you workout. Those meals should be protein and carbs. Thanks

There is a great thread on Lyle's board where he disects the pseudo-science behind this. To the extent the diet works, it is because your calories are reduced by limiting food options.

I am playing around with tis right now. I am going more into the nutrient timing direction as it pertains to when you work out. IMO, most people do not workout at an acceptable time for this diet to work. I work out around 1pm and get C+P meals up until my 3rd meal after my workout which is typically P+F followed by one or 2 more P+F meal. The P+F meals, as TP has stated, cause me to eat fewer calories, plus I am not regimented enough to avoid any single macro since I crave salty/fatty foods AND sugar.
If sense were common, everyone would have it.

I have used the diet for 3 months on my bulk.
My results is very positive. I have gain muscles like on an ordinary p+f+c diet. But the main thing i notice is the fat gain thats have dropped to nearly zero.

Its very hard to get all kcal for the day because like Twin Peak said the food options are limited.

I eat clean 7-8 meals a day and this is my best serious bulk (tried 4 before)

definetly agree on that being a major factor. I do it all the time when I need to shed a little bf. I always train 1st thing in the am so the first 3 meals of P+C is very easy for me to do as am an inactive at night...
I train differently than most, my beef is with gravity the weights on the bar are just the medium...Thanks to Wall Street your slice of the American Pie has been reduced to a crumb.

you could but it would be less than optimum especially for those who have been training for some time...to really keep the body in an anabolic state you need to have constant low levels of serum insulin present

I am curious about all of this too.

A mock-up of a typical day would look like this for me (p-c-f)

    pre workout: 60-130-5
    post shake: 25-50-0
post solid: 60-130-5 (1 hr later)
    meal#4 60-40-40
    meal#5 60-40-40
    meal#6 60-40-40

I have always kept the fats in those last 3 meals....Would I be better off not doing this? Is it pseudo science to keep carbs around workout????
I really want to make sure I am not screwing this up, as there are SO many contradicting oppinions. Just when you think you have it all down, someone calls your method pseudo science, and based on anecdotal edvidence My method has always worked, and will continue to work, still, I would like to know if it is not optimal.

Also, what is the address to lyle mcdonalds board?

Personally I agree with breaking up your macros apart. C+P early in the day and P+F later in the day. I have been doing this for about a month now and I am seeing more loss in bf. All of my carbs are in my 1st three meals. In the past I would mix all my macros and not give a hoot. I did not see any good results. There is definitley some science to this.

when i cut i ate 2 carb & protein meals. one first thing in the morning and the second right after i worked out. usually these meals were back to back. these are also the 2 times when your body stores the least amount of fat. the other 4 meals were P+F meals. i paired this concept with carb cycling....i loved the results.
