    Cottage Cheese Question

What do you guys do with the added sodium in cottage cheese? I use the dry curd kind, but unfortunately it goes bad pretty fast so I'm thinking of switching to regular kind (fat free or 1%). My only problem is the salt. Do you guys rinse it out?

I rarely if ever salt my food. Well maybe Freedom Fries. I get my salt from the food I eat. So the sodium in cottage cheese I do not worry about. I prolly need it.

Well, if I want to make protein pancakes, I don't think the sodium would taste that good in the cottage cheese.

I don't worry about the sodium content in foods...you only have to worry about sodium if you suffer from high BP or hypertension...

Yeah, get your salt, I lacked it, and now have a thyroid problem. I hated salt.
