    rye bread

    Is rye bread good to eat low gi? can it be eaten while cutting? thanx

    Rye bread is one of the better breads to eat, especially if it is wholegrain rye bread. But it is still not as good as pumpernickel or sprouted breads.

    Also, it depends on what you mean by a 'cut'. If it is just for healthy weight loss then most people find that a little bread is ok, and a little rye bread would be fine. If you are 'cutting' for a comp then I would drop it.

    i am not in a competition, i just train for a hobby. i eat a couple of slices once or twice per week. i eat the regular rye bread, the one u use for smoked meat.
