I don't know if anyone else has this problem, but once I kick a habit one way and then relapse that way never works again. I am feeling the need to kick the sugar again. Its really messing with my body and my head right now. The way I use to do it is go on a straight carbohydrate purge for 30 days (It takes 10-14 days to really get the sugar out of your system). But I am finding giving up tortillas and fruit pretty hard this time around. Anyone have any ideas? I appreciate the help.

Whats the reason for you wanting to give up suger completly?Originally Posted by Lurker
Every Carboharate you eat is basically suger in the form of Glucose. This is also the bodys main fuel source. Cutting out all carbs will only lead to a rapid drop in water weight and muscle as the body strugles to find a fuel source it will motabolize amino acids (muscles) using them as fuel. You will also find your energy levels in the gym will be just about null as protien is not as efficent at providing energy as Glucose,by all means cut carbs (eg fruit and bad carbs candy and refined foods) but totaly cutting carbs out of your diet is nothing short of muscle and body function suacide!!
