    preparing protein pancakes night before?

can you make the batter for protein pancakes the night before and store it in the fridge? Will it still be ok? Just curious, would like to save myself some time in the morning.

How do you make protein pancakes? (I want to know because I might try it).

    Thanks in advance.

    My Protein Pancake Recipe is:
    1 cup egg whites
    1/3 cup dry oats
-let the eggs and oats soak for about 10 min
-throw them in a pan sprayed with pam
-cook each side til brown side one: approx. 5 min side two: approx. 2 min
*then i put pb and no sugar added jam on mine

I have made these 4 days in advance and put a paper towel between each pancake and throw them in the fridge. The paper towel will keep them from getting sogging

    Have fun!

I dont mean to make them, just prepare the batter, can you store that in the fridge?

    I use this recipe

    3 egg whites
1 cup cereal, usually kashi or fiber 1
    1/2 cup oats
    1/4 cup cottage cheese
I like mine with some splenda and pumpkin spice to flavor

Blend it up and throw em on the griddle. MMM good.

Sounds like a tasty batter, full of carbs.
It seems like those ingredients would be fine mixed and tossed in the fridge over night, but i wouldnt do it any longer.
However the pancakes would most likely have a creamier texture because the oats and cereal would absorb all the wet ingredients and most likely be heavier.
