i eat a shitload of chicken simply because i am burnt out on eggs and i cant choke down any more tuna. i eat lots of rice too. imo you should work in some salads or green veggies in there. the more sources your body gets its fuel from the better.

Here are a few suggestions. Check the prices if they can fit in your budget , they are real good alternatives to chicken and rice.

    Meat
Beef --> aim for the lean cuts (95% lean beef , tenderloin , flank , brisket ,etc. ) Men's health had an article on this , and they give 8 choice of cuts ideal for someone wanting to build muscle . If you want the 8 cuts they suggest , just tell me , some might be less expensive than others.

Fish---> Again , it still depends on the price. Try getting some frozen fish. Salmon is excellent , and is a great source of omega 3 , tuna , whatever , fish is great.

    Snacks
Almond and other nuts (high in protein ... very good for a snack). Try to eat those with a good old fruit.

Cottage cheese (I get my cottage cheese here for 2,50$CAN for 500g). Considering you get 15g of protein per 125g , its hella good source of protein , with practicaly no fat if you take the 1%.

    Others:
Try to eat some vegetables , oatmeal , whatever you can eat to get some fibers. Fibers are essentials and is the part of a good diet that usually lacks. It helps your body digest the food (protein included) . If you dont like vegetables , try making a cream of something (instead of cream , use partially skimmed milk or skimmed milk). Ill be honest , I dont like vegetables myself , but I love eating thoses creams I make with a bunch of vegetables I wouldnt eat normally . Be creative!

I can even give you a recipe if you want it for making that soup.

Try to eat some brown rice if youre not already doing it . It tastes like shit at first , but now that Im used to eat , I think regular rice is so fad . Try switching some of those rice meals with a baked patatoe ... Too much rice is like too much pasta.

    Hope this can help you.

Oh ya , and what I do , when I make a meal . Is I make wayyy too much for just one meal . I usually make 2-3 meals worth. That way , when Im on the go , I can just microweave it , and Im eating in minutes. When I make my soup , I usually have some for about 5-6 meals. You just have to be creative. When you go to the grocery , check the lables and see by yourself is you should eat it or not.

I eat a lot of Ham and Roast Beef, but that gets expensive. I go to Costco about every two weeks and pick up two big bags of chicken; that lasts me. I also take four shakes a day (my wife is sponsored by a supplement company so I'm lucky in that department), and go through a lot of cottage cheese.

I don't think there's anything wrong with it from a health standpoint, but let's be realistic. Do you really think you'll stick to a diet plan that involves that many repetitive meals?

my meals are repetivie. it makes it easy and takes the guess work out of things. just get your cals in. you may want to get another source of protein in there for a different amino acid profile though. like training, our bodies will adapt to similiar dietary habits as well.

that won't last long at all...at least split it up so that you eat chicken every other meal.

personaly I have at least one serving of meat, fish, chicken and eggs daily...
I train differently than most, my beef is with gravity the weights on the bar are just the medium...Thanks to Wall Street your slice of the American Pie has been reduced to a crumb.

My meals are repetitive too, but eating the same meal 4 times each day is beyond the level of repetitive that my meal plan exhibits.

However, you are right about the amino acid profile. I didn't think about that for some reason. Each day I have the following sources of protein:

Eggs, egg whites, brewer's yeast, tuna, chicken, sardines, cottage cheese, whey, and milk or egg protein isolate.

Not to mention other sources of protein which aren't my primary sources, yet contribute significantly combined together.

i believe brisket is far from a lean cut, although it sure is good
