Exclamation Martial artist with a CHI MASTER BELLY

Q: For someone with Hypertension and slightly overweight but has muscle mass, what would be the best recommendation for a diet that helps me to loose weight at the same time getting better physically fit. I work out 6 days a week, and I also work 4 jobs. So as you can see most of my problems comes from time schedule to eat. What are the best ways to prepare food when your in and out of the door all day long. Every diet schedule is for people who have one job and time to prepare meals. What about those individuals who work more than one job and does not normally have time to prepare dishes to eat.

I work out running 1.5 miles in the morning, and lifting weights alternating days. On Saturdays I Walk 5 to 8 miles on the mountain trails of Gundpowder park in Maryland. On Sundays, I only do p.m. abs work, with flexability exercises daily. My workout schedule only lasts around 2 hours max, and I am also a martial artist. But, my stomach stays the same as my arms increase, leaving me looking like a popeye knockoff.

I really need some help. I am trapped inside 224 -240 lbs limits which I never see any changes. I would like to get down to 190 - 200 lbs solid, with around 5 to 7% body fat.

The only thing I can advice is take some time out to prepare your food, chicken/ beef etc with rice and vegetables, maybe your abs aren't catchin up because you are over training them. Cut a few add workouts, while I think bout it maybe cut back a little on your carbs each week. So in effect go on a slow cut and see if that helps

I usually stop and prepare some food on monday (chicken breast, salmon steaks, lean beef) to last for a few days and tupperware it in the fridge. Usually on Weds/Thurs I do the same again if I cant make it to Saturday (cheat day). I am also a MAist and I run a school 3 days a week and go to College one other night while working full time. I just had to come to the conclusion its a pain in the ass to prep food that way but to me the end result will be worth all the pain in the ass days spent prepping food at once in the kitchen for the week.

in order to lose weight you have to eat a caloric deficit and keep training. just like trying to gain muscle - you can train all you want but you wont get any bigger unless you eat like you want to get bigger.

Lightbulb Chi Master Belly Part 2

A: Well, I guess I was being kinda premetive, I am sure my body will never get back to my old size of my SF & Rgr days with the military. I guess Ideally I would think that it is possible for someone with my body structure to reach 200 lbs with at least 10% or lower body fat. This is an idealistic goal I think can be reached.

As far as fixing meals during the day, sounds great but I only eat Chicken and Fish and every vegitable I can find. When your raised on Rice, the body uses starches differently than per say if I were back in Japan, I guess the activity levels are greater when you live there or is it a psychological change. In America, my body automatically turns my starches into Fats. no matter how its prepared. I guess preparing a weeks supply of dishes for later meals would be my best option, but how many meals are you eating per day. I usually try to keep myself around 3 large dishes and 2 snacks daily. My snacks consist of fresh fruit or vegetable.. Carrots, Celery, Brocoli and things like this. So for the next 2 months I will try this preparing meal strategy
    Domo Arigatou Bhunter.

And lastly, For those who asked. I have been studying martial arts for over 31 years, and I am licensed in Aikido, Ninjutsu, and Maui Thai kickboxing. I have also been studying the Samurai arts for over 30 years. I teach my own fighting system privately called Budo Goshin Jutsu (Advanced Combat techniques) and Tengu Sorei Ninpo (Historical Ninjutsu Techniques).
I appreciate all the help on this subject and I will be looking forward to sharing other topics on this and other matters.

If anyone is located near Maryland and interested in participating in martial arts action cinema, I am always looking for other martial artist who are interested in getting into films. Look for me under my company site titled:

I feel your pain on the army days! I will never have a 30 inch waist again but I can live with 32-34 As to how many times a day I usually eat 5-6 small meals a day usually a protien and a veggie with these meals. Sometimes in the evening I will add some extra protien if i am still hungry to I can kill the cravings untill morning (I used to be a horrible night snacker luckily I broke the habit!) I have been buying a whole bag of lean chicken breast meat cooking up about 10 at a time and it last about 3 days (along with tuna, salmon, lean beef) But I try not to go over 3-4 days because I have heard nasty stories about bacteria in cooked meats.
Wish I was in maryland Id give it a shot! I have a black belt in American Kenpo and am currently studying Brazilian Jiu Jitsu along with teaching my Kenpo. I have always wanted to put together some martial arts "short films" with some buddies for fun and throw them on a website. Have you ever been to the kwoon? www.thekwoon.com "Bad acting, good kung fu" hillarious stuff!

you are making a mistake by eating 3 meals a day, try eating 6-7 smaller meals a day (not too small but not to big) and just by doing that you will see a difference, there is a lot more stuff but you will have to do research on everything else because it would ake me literally a month to type down everything you need to know.... as for martial arts, yeah man before i got into it it was weird for me now i love Aikido and it tought me so much mentaly and physically, i would lover to do a movie like that but am to far away....good luck on your diet...
