    Discipline

Hey guys I need help on being disciplined not to give in to the sweets. I mean I eat all the good foods I am saposed to but I always seem to give in to having that cookie after lunch or piece of chocolate after a meal. I also dont want to be anal about it either. What helps you guys stick to your diet and not give in to little things that bring you down. Also, do you guys really only have one cheat day, and is it the whole day or just a meal? I am a teenager and my metabolism is fast enough where I dont really pay too much for eating crap once in a while. Thanks for the advice.

Only one cheat meal. And yes, that is all I do unless it's a special occassion like bday or holiday. Then it's a feast

So long as you develop a proper diet and make sure your body gets enough food the cravings typically go away in a a few days. You just have to walk away and remind yourself to look forward to that cheat meal. I have this thing that I tell myself which usually works. I'll tell myself that if I eat whatever is tempting me now then I won't be allowed my cheat meal on Saturday night. That usually helps me to walk away. Of course now that I'm dieting for competition there are not cheat meals save for Christmas day

Brush your teeth immediately after you eat, it will fill you sweet tooth, but even if after that you feel like having a cookie or something, think about how nasty food taste right after you brush your teeth

I don't have the problem, but if I did, I'd like that idea.

Hey body, I am in the same boat as you. It's tough staying in to cook up some chicken and veggies and potatoes and stuff while your freinds are stuffing there faces at mcdonalds or what not.

Friday isn't much of a big deal to me, as after work I eat me dinner, but saturdays kill me. Not that I need to eat the food, but because Im dieing of hunger that I need to eat.

I usually go for subway, as theres one close by everywhere my freinds eat, so I suggest going to subway or something of that sort.

Of course some food, is better than no food, in my opinion when hanging out with freinds.
