    How low can I go?

I am 5'10'' 285lbs around 22% bodyfat....I want to lean out and get down to around 220lbs and see where I am at. My question is how low on calories can I go before I will lose a shit load of muscle while doing no less then 1 hour cardio per day along with weights? I have spent the past three years adding mass and now I want to lean out without losing all that I've eaten and worked out so hard to get. Thanks for advice. I ask how low I can go because I want to drop the fat ASAP...I don't want to take a year to drop down into the single digit bodyfat levels.

Not sure how low exactly you could go but if you plan on losing more then a pound or so a week you will be risking the loss of LBM. You should gradually lower your calories to losing about a pound or so a week and once that stops then you can lower your cals some more. If you drop your cals to drasticly you will shock the body and really screw some stuff up.

Well I have to drop more then pound a week....I want to drop around 3 pounds per week...I guess if I lose LBM I can always add it back..I assume its easier to add muscle size if you've already had achieved the size. Is that correct? I thought muscle had memory to a degree. I am going to keep most of my calories protein to avoid losing LBM.

Why would you wanna loose 3 pounds or more a week? U competing soon or something?? Otherwise, Im not sure its such a good idea to loose so much weight so quickly...if you care about keeping it off at all...

Are you going to be on cycle? If so, why not run some t3 or some other cutting agent?

Sounds like a good way to ruin 3 years of good hard earned work. I know you have done cycles before so if you plan to run such a crazy cut I'd recomend you run something to try and maintain as much LBM. 3lbs a week is extreme and that is a waste of work.

Yes muscles have memory but why bother with that. It will take longer doing it that way...bc then you would have to bulk THEN cut AGAIN! Why not take a little extra time and do it right the first time so you maintain most of your LBM and can reap the benefits afterwards.

depends on what supplements you are taking. if you take some thing that has a high infinity to bind to the AR receptor like tren you can go low as hell with miminal muscle loss...

you could easily go down to 10-12 cals per lb of LBM...

T3 on cycle with Test/Tren. DNP for the last 14 days. You are going overboard trying to go from 22% to 8% that fast. You stand to loose more than muscle, Bro. Be more realistic. Your health and comfort are at serious risk, IMO. Don't sacrifice your LBM because you feel fat right now.

Thanks guys for the help...I am going to just clean up my diet and avoid all eating out. I've got myself a really nice cooler bag with those ice packs to keep shit cold...so I'm going to start taking my food with me where ever I go so I don't have a cheat for any reason...then I will just do 45 mintues of cardio after weights at night. I'll see how that goes. If I follow my diet I should be eating 6 clean meals per day with a lean meat like chicken or tuna along with a veggie either broccoli or green beans. I am not going to be able to cycle while doing much of the cutting because I need to get my BF down to lower my blood pressure...maybe the cardio will help with that as well. My blood pressure has got out of hand after only being on for 6 weeks....So I am throwing in the towel until I get my bodyfat down to a reasonable level to cycle. My blood pressure was 174/101 when I woke up yesterday. That did not make me happy, and I've felt like shit since gaining the 20lbs this cycle. So before cycling again I want to get down to no more then 12-15% bodyfat. Then maybe run a prop/t3 cycle for 6 weeks along with a lower calorie diet to shed more fat. Really I only want to drop the fat as quickly as I can without putting my health at risk. I guess my blood pressure and the way I feel lately has been a huge wake up call to get my bodyfat down before trying to add more muscle. BBing is about being healthy and I'm not feeling very healthy.

285 lbs is a hell of a lot of weight at 5'10. I know how you feel as when I get around 260 I just don't feel "right". when you don't feel normal that is your body telling you something.

take your cut slow and don't do too much cardo or your baselin cortisol levels will get jacked up. decide how much cardio you are going to do start it for several weeks, then start dropping your cals.

Trojan Sounds like a solid plan. Just clean everything up but don't drop those cals to fast. By eating a proper diet and cardio that blood pressure will level out in no time.
