    Where does flavor come from?

    What is taste? Where does flavor come from? Why do fat food taste better than healthy food? Does flavor travel in the air if so can I taste smell?

    I think taste and smell work together. If you have ever lost your sense of smell when you were sick, you'll know what i mean. Everything tastes bland as hell without smell. I was able to take shot of vodca or whiskey, and there was no bite at all. It was like water with a tiny bit of flavoring. Needless to say I still got drunk as hell.

    Yes, I heard that a lot of foods if you donīt smell you canīt tell for sure what it is.
