on there is a shopping list i take it you dont have to get everything on the list just enough to make your required caloroies, and i guess i will have to go round the shops to find out the amount of calories in each one before i know esactly what to buy

Yep, you dont have to get everything on the list. Just get what you like to eat.

No need to go any where to get nurtition info. Plug your meals at www.fitday.com to see what they look like. As well as there is VAST amount of info at www.nutritiondata.com

Cant have a diet to start you out readily as every is different with different likes and dislikes of food items as well as different lifestyles and goals. So the best person to work your diet is YOU. Dont feel bad if you get repeatedly sent back to rework your diet until you get it right. It is a learning process. The first step to sucess is not how much you can chow down or how much weight you can schlep up and down in the gym. The first tep to sucess is knowlwdge of what you are doing. So read up and learn before you do anything.
