insulin index vs glycemic index
hello,
i tried to understand the diffrent between the two indexs, for example: if i eat high GI food, so my glucose level raise up and cause of that the insulin will raise up too. if i eat high II food, so my insulin level raise up too. if i eat a meal that contains high GI - my insulin will raise up if i eat a meal that contains high II and low GI - my insulin will raise up where is the catch? |

insulin is a storage hormone so any time you eat a food item whether it is a protein, carbodhydrate or fat serum inulin levels will increase.
some foods that are low GI are high on the II, such as milk. so you can consume a food item that does not have a large effect on serum glucose levels but it does elicit a large insulin response. |

ok thanks, but the thing that i dont understand:
when the glucose levels raise up in the blood so the insulin level will raise up, am i right? so if i eat something that the GI is high - because of that the II must be high |
