Whey first thing in the morning

Since your body has been without protein for 8 hours while sleeping, wouldn't whey be good first thing in the morning since it will provide much needed protein to your muscles quickly?

Is whey bad for you if you drink too much?

If you take too much, you could get a little indigestion, etc. Maybe some bloating feeling. but its not bad for your health. Its milk protein.

Yeah but its processed, isnt it? So its not natural, and could have a negative effect on your body, right?

there is nothing unhealthy about protein powders unless you happen to be allergic to them...

Bro, it should be whey only, followed by breakfast about 30 minutes later. Let the whey get into your system then eat a solid meal.

I do 40-60gms in a shake, followed later by a mostly protein meal.

I tend to use a 1/2 serving of n large because I am very very skinny, and anyways I am on a bulk, perhaps I should have the cereal yoghurt and honey 30 mins after?

if you are skinny, consuming whey and sugar (NLarge 2) isn't going to help much. you need to increase your intake of nutritious foods then supplement that with weight gainers, etc.

I am eating chicken/ turkey, lean minced beef, rice, pasta, potatoes, green veggies, carrots, broccoli, ham, cheese, tuna, and some eggs and a few slices of bread every day.

Drinking as much water as I can stomach a can or two of diet soda and a cup of coffee to wake me up in the morning, I thought weight gainer was good on a bulk and fluid is about the only thing I can stomach in the mornings anyways

I consider a shake a meal, i mix pro with my efa of choice for that meal and devour. I like to limit my shakes to two per day and consume the rest of my protein in real meals.
I am at a little over 10%bf for ever now and I eat at least 40g pro per meal 6 times per day. no problems.

I eat every 3 hours and usually start to get hungry a half hour or so before my next scheduled meal.

not true, your body can consume more than 23g's of protein at a single sitting...
I consider a protein shake a meal, but I usually have something to go with it (oatmeal or so)...however, if I'm taking it by itself I'd still count it as a meal.
