Cottage Cheese alternatives

Hey all. I know I could use the benifits of cottage cheese, but I can't stand the taste. Makes me sick literally. Are there any other foods that have similar benifits that I could replace it with?

I think Ricotta Cheese

Obstacles don't have to stop you. If you run into a wall, don't turn around and give up. Figure out how to climb it, go through it, or work around it.

hey it that true? Is Ricotta good?

What this means is that when we drop a ball and it falls to the ground, it wasn't the ball that moved (down to the ground), but the ground that moved (up to the ball)

Ricotta cheese is not really that good a replacement - it is primarily WHEY protein where cottage cheese is CASEIN - so the action and digestion speed is completely different.

A good casein protein powder would be the 'closest' in terms of the actual protein source. So you could make a shake with some almond butter or peanut butter...

Fat free/low fat hard cheeses are mosltly casein protein... But you would have to look around for one that had a good protein count with low fats/carbs. I know there is one available in Australia which has 35.5g protein, 6g fat and 0g carbs per 100g... Which is not too bad.

If you don't mind some carbs then skim milk would be an ok alternative. But you would want to add some healthy fats to slow digestion. Ummm... FF/SS natural yoghurts would also be ok.

Otherwise just go for your other protein sources such as salmon/seafood, chicken, whole eggs, lean red meats. Combine with some healthy fats to slow digestion as well.
