Yeah, but I don't know how much. I heard about some college kid dying from drinking I think 3 gallons in an hour.

It depends how much you are currently taking in as well...if you up your water intake to fast you can get sick. If you gradually increase it and train your body you can handle alot more. Many will say no more then 2 gallons a day or you risk water intoxication.

5000ml is enough for me. I can't remember all the details, but I do remember my doctor saying someone's thyroid getting fucked because of too much water.

I read an article by Anthony Ellis that said if you multiply your bodyweight by 2/3 (.66), then that is about the number of ounces of water you should consume in a day.
I think 2 gallons a day is a good max. I see no reason to drink more, unless you work some physical job in extreme heat where you sweat for hours on end, or something to that effect. |
