    Redemption...

soo today i majorly F'd up my diet today.. i decided to grab i bite to eat the the fellas at this all you can eat pizza place(bad idea). i didnt want to at first but i didnt plan my meals right (first day back at school after break) so i decide to eat there.. i start stuffing my face with pizza ( couldnt even keep count and wouldnt be supirsed if it was equivalent to 2-3 medium pizzas.). i tried to come up with a logic that wud make me lose the guilt so i say.. well im on a bulking diet... i hear guys saying they eat like this once and awhile for some extra cals so i guess it cant be too bad, right?... i was so worried that i tried throwing most of it up and drink ALOT of water.. i didnt eat anything the rest of the day since i was full ( havent eaten in 9 hours)..
how bad is this for 1 day out of 1 week of bulking diet??/

I had a friend who was an amatuer body builder who had a diet plan that had one "cheat" day where you could eat just about anything you wanted. I have no idea what his logic to this was, but he looked pretty healthy and built to me. Not that it's ok. Like BigFish said, it's not the end of the world. I think the fact that you felt guilty about it was a good thing and made you realize that you don't want to eat like that. I'm betting you won't be doing that again for a long time.

That's what I call "feeding the Beast within". It's like a wild animal that takes over. You deprive yourself of all the "bad foods" for so long and then you take one bite..... Game Over. The Beast consumes you and you enter into a feeding frenzy!

Don't fret it man. We've all been there. No need to go puke. You'll only do more damage to your body that way. Don't go starving yourself in an attempt to compensate for the calories you consumed. Stick to your diet. Chalk this up in the "lessons learned" file and drive on with your life. You'll be fine.

Wow....thats strange. I did almost the exact same thing (all you can eat pizza) earlier today and I have felt like shit for doing it. Glad to know i'm not the only one who takes this seriously and still messes up. Too bad i'm only 3 days into my cutting cycle.

You're bulking. Sheesh. Get over it. Even if you were cutting, one bad day will not kill you.
