Sick of gnawing your chicken day in and day out?

I find it adds variety if you mince it in a food processor. I add some spices/oliveoil or sesame oil and wrap it in lettuce leaves.

I also buy whole wheat manicotti's and stuff them with the meat filling and mix some more of the meat with tomato sauce and cover them.

Now you don't have to gag down 2 chicken breasts.

It's so much easier to just eat the breasts though

i go on food strikes periodically. (but i am insane )

for instance - at the moment i can't stand to even THINK about eating chicken. so i'm eating tons of tuna (mercury be damned) one day soon i suppose i'll be sick of tuna and be steaming and boiling and grilling up chicken again.

Sometimes it gets old eating the same chunks of chicken all of the time, especially after you just ate it 3 hours ago, if one meal is whole breasts and one is minced then your jaws will thank you that you didn't have to gnaw too much today. I just want to eat sometimes not get jaw aerobics.

Plus think of the energy you save and how much quicker the protein gets to your body if it's pre-chewed up and broken down by the processor.

Oh I know it gets old. I frequently get the urge to do something fancy like cook up the chicken with some rice and seasonings or try some special recipe, then I remember it will take twice as long and will dirty dishes, then I just end up eating them plain.

I try to aim for a variety: lean beef
    chicken (canned, frozen, and fresh)
    tuna (pouch and canned)
    shrimp
halibut, mahi-mahi, tilapia (other white fish)
    salmon
    crab
    turkey
    ostrich
    venison
    elk
    buffalo
    eggs
    chicken apple sausage
Not too fond of ham and veal though.
Lol, half the time I'm lazy though and go with chicken.

Curious, do you hunt this yourself? Know someone who does? Or do you have a market that actually sells wild game meat?

Me hunt? Lol, naw. I rarely eat those. I ordered some online. Buffalo can usually be gotten at Whole Foods, along with ostrich, though. I used to have a family friend that caught fresh salmon. Ah damn, miss those days.

    peanut and chilli stir-fry

i have made this a few times, I think it is really great.

Get ur chicken sliced into strips.

get shit like snow peas, carrots, broccoli, bamboo shoots, capsicum, spring onion.... basically anything you like.

marinade the chicken for at least 2 hours in a mix of crushed garlic, 2 1/2 tbsp of PB and equal amounts of sweet chilli sauce, add a dash of lemon/lime juice. Oh yeah, u gotta blend the marinade or stir the hell out of it, and it comes out more like a paste. so yeah, after chicken is been in contact with the Goo, just cook off like regular stir fry, add more lemon juice to the remainder of the sauce and then throw it in with the veggies.

there u go. just adjust the quantities according to personal tastes....

    cheers. Phil
