    Cant eat

Hi, first me let say I recently got rejected by a chick that I was crazy about, and today my best friend starts dating her.

Since I got rejected I can't eat, and when I actually can its almost nothing.
Any tips as to how I can get over this?

    Eat anyway
Homer: Hey! I saved your life! That egg sandwich could have killed you by cholesterol.
Lenny: Pfft, forget it, Homer. While it has been established that eggs contain cholesterol, it has not yet been proven conclusively that they actually raise the level of serum cholesterol in the human
    blood stream.

Hang out with Bob Marley for a couple hours then stumble into an all-you-can-eat buffet.

Mind over matters, just put it behind you, chalk it up to experience and focus on your goals again, when your buff and studly she'll wish she was with you don't ya think?

You are young... you want my best advice? .. It was her loss.. There are a zillion women out there. Go to a club and check out all the females. See how many there are? ... They are yours to pick from. You are a free man. It's free to ask them out. If you ask enough, one will say yes.... and it doesn't cost a dime. Ask them all. Enjoy your freedom while you got it.. and become a well established swordsman. Forget that chick cause she is a loser..

The dif between then and now is as you mature you develope more sense of your emotional self. You "feel" it more now than you used too. You didn't used to care as much what your mom thought either ... but you do a little more now. Same with what older people think of you ... you care more about that too. Just let the days roll past and all will be well LK ... chalk it up to growing pains .

Your rejections will become acceptable as you get older ... nobody scores on every shot not even me ... shhh ... but don't tell anyone I said that. Not every girl that wants that bod you're building will get a shot at it either. Thas just the way it goes young bro

I always transfer that emotional clutter into my work outs ... as the intensity of my workout increases my emotional issues fade away

One of the things I consider when deciding to be friends with a male is whether he would do my girl or the girl I wanted at that time. None of my people would do me thataway ... nor I them. Too much pooty out there wanting a lil lovin to cause damage to a bro. Ya catch my drift there ...

To help with needing to be starving, get some B12 vitamins with at least 1500mcg. That will jack your appetite.

i was thinking the same thing about the friend. You should kick his ass. LOL jk..unless you want to, then that'd be cool. I'm sort of in the same boat as you right now. the girl i was dating for quite some time, decides to break up with me and i found out a couple days ago that it was for another guy. I just can't get over her, it sucks, i feel the same way about eating too, sometimes i just feel to bad to eat. And this all happened 3 weeks ago.

the weightlifting lifestyle shouldn't be effected by what goes on outside this lifestyle. I use the gym as a place to get rid of whatever stress may be effecting me, so in your case eat to get rid of this stress that is effecting you.

well... let me help you. OPEN UP THE BAY DOOR....HERE COMES THE AIRPLAAAAAAANE!!!!.lol jk all jokes aside. what you need to do is man up, beat the fuck outta ur "friend" make sure shes watching this go down too, then take off your shirt, then after your beating his ass, pee on him, flex in front of her, pose, flex again and then give her a rose or something. if that doesnt work then do like they did in the early days, get a big wooden bat, clonk her on the head a few time and then drag her by her hair to your room.! it always works for me.

jk man.. im sorry.. just take it in stride. give it a week and youll get over it. can you drink stuff because if at all possible, i guess you could blend your food into shakes or something to hold you over until you get over this.

I second this... you're so young, quit being ridiculous. grow a set and move on. Chicks at your age are a dime a dozen...you should be sampling the buffet man. Do it now, BEFORE you get tied down...trust me!

Move on, she's one girl who probably wasn't worth your while. And if your "best friend" did that to you knowing how you felt, then it's time to reevaluate that relationship too.

    Let 'em drop.

Get over the girl, eat, get huge, and then watch her wish she had you back. Let that be your inspiration.

It shouldn't but you know it is...if you don't use the outside world to affect your weight lifting lifestyle why do you say you lift to get rid of the stress and channel that aggression? Kind of contradicting yourself don't ya think?

Your life doesn't affect you only negativly...it also helps sometimes when having a good day. Your life style def. affects your workouts and eating habbits you just need to learn to deal with em and make it work to your advantage.

Take advantage of it now boy b/c it only gets worse when your older. The buffet is waiting grab a plate or two and dig in....and don't be afraid of seconds!

I guess when you put it that way DB, I sort of am contradicting myself. However, If I have a shit poor day I use it as motivation not as something thats going to take away from the lifestyle I try and live up to. I more so meant that he should forget about it and use the eating as if he was in the gym relieving that stress which would allow him to eat without feeling shitty and ultimately throwing up.

Beating off also takes care of stress, you can give that a try.

Ok, honestly I'm not tryin' to call you out here or anything, but I remembered your other thread about asking chicks out. Is the best friend who's currently dating her the same one she was dating for a year and broke up with a few days ago, you assumed because of you? ...if it is, then welcome to the world of karma, if anything your best friend should be kicking your ass. If its not, then you've done what you could, you're 15, I promise there will be others, kick your other best friends ass if you think that'll help. Either way there's physical violence between 2 best friends over a chick who may or may not be worth the stitches.

I was just overthinking there...I understood the point you were trying to make and I agree. He should just remain eating and working out steadily...don't let peddy shit like this bother you. Man each day I got during a bulk I treated it like it was my last on the planet...I let nothing get in between me, food, and the weights!

This is you giving up...you were lifting to impress the ladies and now that you lost one you are giving up. Fuq that...get back on that horse man...keep eating, get biggerm, and bang EVERY cheerleader in your school! Especially the ones that are taken...

Not worth it...believe me from a guy who has gotten into some pretty sick fights. I fought most of my childhood. Fights are not worth it msot of the time...things can be settled in much better ways....honestly! I do not enjoy fighting anymore...hate it....but do it when need be.

Everything is back to normal now (sort of) I can eat fine, feel fine, and I even played a nice game of football this morning. 42-28 kicked their ass's pretty hard.

As for my "friend" yea, you know thats over. I wanted to kick his ass pretty bad, but as I cooled down I realized I would've embarassed myself more than likely, guys got height and weight advantage.

If you have to fight over a girl, she isn't worth having in the first place.
