Look for "light" yogurt, they are lower in sugar/carbs.

Yogurt is one of those foods that you should probably avoid when trying to lose weight and can get away w/ eating while you're trying to gain. It has a lot of sugar and protein. If you're going to use it, look for one that has no added sugar, has been sweetened w/ a sugar alternative...it will also be lower in carbs.

Lactose is a major component of yogurt, and it is sugar. Ditto on dairy being bad when trying to lean out.
