If you do it correctly, you can maintain the majority of muscle, but you will lose some muscle.
This spring I plan to drop from 10% to around 6% body fat and maintain that for the summer. How much size loss can be expected? For me, most of my fat lies around my waist, but my thighs have a certain amount of subcataneous fat.
