I don't find that Bassa smells at all, that's pretty much all I eat in the way of white fish other than tuna.
Does White Fish smell when you cook it? I just moved to NYC and I'm renting with this lady so I don't want to stink up her house, but I need some other source of protein besides chicken (all I've been eating here is chicken!). Beef I can't stand and canned tuna gives me a stomach ache.
Suggestions? Ideas?
Thanks![]()

Bassa is GROSS(Ate it at the buffet in Vegas)
I would cook Halibut, or Orange Ruffy(sp).

But when you disarm them, you at once offend them by showing that you distrust them, either for cowardice or for want of loyalty, and either of these opinions breeds hatred against you.

Mahi Mahi from Sam's Club...Now that is some good fish. Or some fresh caught Spanish Mackerel.
My girlfriend hates the smell of fish, so she makes me buy Pollock. You cook it in the stove and if you put a little pepper on it, thats what it will smell like.
I bought some basa for the first time today and I really liked it. No fishy smell and most important NO BONES! Too good to be true. I'm not a big fish fan I really enjoyed it![]()
