try diet cherry coke if you have to have the fix. Opinions vary on aspartame, but from my research ive found that it helps in the absorbtion of proteins.

    http://www.aspartame.org/?source=Ove...OVMTC=standard

Diet cherry coke doesnt really taste like a diet soda.

They are empty calories. Bulking or not, you don't want to fill your body with pure crap.

If you want soda, learn to drink diet (but just be careful of the overall amount)...

Otherwise, stick to healthier alternatives and get your calories from cleaner and more useful sources.

in moderation no. but there is not one benefit to drinking it either. consuming simple sugars on a regular basis is a good way to decrease insulin sensitivity.
