    Help with bulking diet please

Hey, I'm 14 yrs old, 165lbs at 6ft. This is my first attempt at any sort of diet,so any help would be greatly appreciated! I havent calculated but I would say theres roughly 2600 cals, 200g protein, 300g carbs and 60 g fat.

7.30- glass of orange juice, two whole eggs, one white, bowl of oatmeal ( 1 1/2 cup milk, 3/4 cup oats)

10.55- two slices of wholemeal bread with peanut butter and handful of walnuts

1.15- two slices of wholemeal bread with tuna and cucumber

5.00- whey with 250ml semiskimmed milk plus apple

PWO- shake made of whey, 300mlsemi skimmed milk, 1/2 cup oats and banana

    8.00- 75gbrown rice, yoghurt, 100gchicken, 1 cup broccoli

    10.00- 250g cottage cheese, 2tbsp peanut butter

    Thanks for any help

Whoa whoa dude, firstly you should be on any sort of 'diet' at your age because you are still growing, and secondly your diet seem ok, but I would cut out the wholemeal bread for meal 3, and have another carb like rice, or pasta. Unless you get sprouting bread or check the ingredients carefully alot of bread has too much sugar in it, which can be bad on a bulk.

    Good over all though

14 and 6 ft!!! My god boy - you are a monster!!

This looks like a good ratio but at your age you don't need to get too caught up in the numbers - your body is pretty primed for lean growth at this stage. You give it good healthy foods and you train hard and you will not really need to worry too much!

7.30- glass of orange juice, two whole eggs, one white, bowl of oatmeal ( 1 1/2 cup milk, 3/4 cup oats)
Ok - I wouls swap the OJ to some real fruit instead. Some berries, a banana, an apple etc... these are much more beneficial to you.

    Otherwise things looks fine.

10.55- two slices of wholemeal bread with peanut butter and handful of walnuts
Ok - you want to add some protein to this meal... You don't have a complete protein source (such as meats, cottage cheese, eggs etc).

I would also consider swapping the wholemeal bread for a healthier carb. Some wholegrains (barley, oats, rye, brown rice), sweet tato or even a better bread (pumpernickel bread or a sprouted bread) would be better options.

You might also want to pick either the PB or the walnuts..

1.15- two slices of wholemeal bread with tuna and cucumber
Great. But think about swapping the bread for something else. I would also have the apple from your next meal here.

5.00- whey with 250ml semiskimmed milk plus apple
Add oats here and take out the apple (a better pre-workout carb).
Then go for skim milk (not semi-skimmed).

PWO- shake made of whey, 300mlsemi skimmed milk, 1/2 cup oats and banana
Swap the semi-skimmed for skim milk and this is perfect!

    8.00- 75gbrown rice, yoghurt, 100gchicken, 1 cup broccoli
Not too bad... I would be tempted to drop the yoghurt and just increase your rice and chicken instead.

    10.00- 250g cottage cheese, 2tbsp peanut butter
    Great!!

    Looks pretty good!

I started training when I was 16 and was told not to bother with any sort of diet because my body was still growing and that I wouldn't see any major gains until I was 21. I am two years off of that now and I am still not on any strict diet.

thats some bs... i started training in october of 2004. i was still 18 but only 185lbs, i gained 20lbs in 4 months, of mostly muscle. i was not on as strict a diet as i am on now (and not even now is my diet "strict"), but a diet nonetheless. maybe its my genetics but i consider 20lbs in 4 months a pretty major gain

Yeah I no, I every 'instructor' I've had at a gym has said that I won't see any gains @ me age and that a diet at my age was silly cus I am such a skinny guy that I should eat what I like( within reason), but just up my cals making sure that 80% was healthy food/ drink
